Halfway PPS All Conference Candidates

January 26, 2014 Comments off

Let me preface this by saying that I haven’t paid much attention to the other teams in the league. If I have left someone off the list you feel is deserving either let me know via polite email or tweet or just get over it.  I couldn’t find one standout guy for Milwaukee or Cleveland State, that doesn’t mean these teams aren’t good (Milwaukee is not good) it just means they don’t rely on that one guy to lead them night in and night out.  Edit: it was brought to my attention I left off CSU’s Anton Grady, Grady scores a .6694 in 475 minutes of action. Thanks Dave_2010 from the Valpo fan zone for pointing out Grady as a candidate. These scores are for the entire season, not just league play.  Three players have really separated themselves from the pack, with Brown and Perry probably on NBA teams draft radars. From lowest score to highest score here is where the Horizon League stars sit:

#8 Travis Bader, Oakland, 823 minutes PPS of .5346

#7 Juwan Howard Jr, Detroit, 704 minutes PPS of .6378

#6 First Name Barlow, UIC, 650 minutes PPS of .6692

#5 AJ Pacher, Wright State, 498 minutes PPS of .6767

#4 LaVonte Dority, Valpo, 660 minutes PPS of .6909

#3 Alec Brown, Green Bay, 563 minutes PPS of .8668

#2 Kendrick Perry, Youngstown State, 759 minutes PPS of .8972

#1 Keifer Sykes, Green Bay, 627 minutes PPS of .9665
